Note from da creator
I bought the MX-700 last week here in Germany for DM1400 (slightly used).
I am VERY content with this cam. It has all the features I was looking for:
small size, flash, high resolution, TV output. When I played around with
the cam, I found the 16-CONT mode which allows to take 16 continuous shots
in two or four seconds. Therefore this is great for creating animated gifs.
After manually cropping out the 16 images, I knew that it was time for some
coding. I found the GIFLIB on the web and yesterday evening I just had
to do some minor hacking to write this program.
Enjoy!
